It's amazing to me how we can see an act of brutality imposed by white people onto blacks and all agree that it's evil, and then see the exact same behavior imposed on whites by blacks and shrug it off as "muh reparations".

Explain the lack of coverage then. These are families we're talking about. Men, women, and children, all of whom are suffering under the bootheel of this "black power taking muh land back from the evil white oppressor" filth. Explain how a single death of a black man can be treated with such a high regard that it travels to international lengths, and yet you can barely see enough coverage on Facebook let alone TV about this. For all the chest pounding about how evil oppression is, it seems it really isn't as big a deal as these people claim. Because violence against minorities only ever seems to be a problem when the minority doesn't have white skin.

Are you talking about the country which is trying to insist that its president step down amid political backlashes regarding many things, one of which is that citizens of a certain colour are more likely to be murdered by the majority skin tone and are protesting by blocking highways and wearing all black?

What's nuts is that you think the problems in south Africa remain so trivial that they require no such outside news reporting to let the people know about it. I don't know if you're aware of this, but ANY time crimes against humanity happen, they recieve international attention. There is a lot more going on in South Africa that I think you are probably unaware of in terms of human rights, but I am not the news media and it is not my responsibility to inform you on it. But, I will say that police shootings are not the most important thing going on, so even if the news media was reporting objectively on South Africa, they would not be front page news.
And yet you're defending their refusal to report on it. I know the US news media isn't under your control. I'm not blaming you for them not reporting on it, but i would at least expect you to not defend their decision not to. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy to report on some human rights violations and not other based on skin color. Why does Europe have to suffer the same news reporting in America? They aren't Americans. Why does America have to suffer the same news reporting in Syria? They aren't the middle east. It seems the whole world gets to hear about all the nasty things that happen to brown and black people, but no one gives a shit about whites when they're suffering racial persecution?
