the post-credits scene

That tease may be what bugs me most about the reboot, not getting a follow-through on that.

reply

The post credit scenes in these films usually never lead to anything.

Besides, it was more PTSD from Will Turner. Davy Jones is dead.

It's been a while since I saw this, but didn't they break all curses and magic spells? The post scene never made any sense.

reply

They did. That was just a dream of Wills.

reply

All spells may have been broken but apparently there are some loop holes. If he was dreaming why was their water and crustacean pieces on the floor..??

reply

That does make sense. Thank you. As much as I hate the term, this is now "head canon" unless/until proven otherwise. You've given my mind rest ;)

reply

It's actually kind of creepy. He gets his life back, but will be a tormented soul forever.

reply

Yeah but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.

Of course Will would be traumatized, after being trapped on The Flying Dutchman for so long, and would of course be worried about being made to go back

reply

Since when does it matter when a character is dead in this franchise? Barbossa was also dead...
