Cunk on Earth is similar to Sacha Baron Cohen presenting himself as ignorant or a believer of nonsense while interacting with people not following a script but trying to rationalize his behavior.
Ultimately, SBC is screamingly funny while Cunk is just mildly humorous.

Cohen tries to trick people into believing the character he's playing is real, to humiliate them or make fools of them on camera. On Cunk, the interviewees, while being real experts, are clearly in on the joke, and play their parts well.
shareCunk's show does kind of lose its charm when it becomes apparent that all of her interview subjects are completely in on the gag and playing along, often times trying too hard to play it straight when responding to her ridiculous interview questions.
shareIt's this very british overdone humor, which is all the british seem to know where they mix up a word or get it wrong and oh how funny it is, they hear something, pretend they hear something else, like "euthansia" and ali g said "what does have to do with asian kids?"
this is what this broad does, but again and again and again...
