How woke it is?

I havent watched the movie, but the impression i had from the clips i watched,it seems like the umpteenth movie with a strong female character and two weak men simping for her. Seriously, they vibe i had from the body language of the two male characters in the clips is that they are 100% simping for her,in they way they move, they way they look at her, etc. meanwhile she scolds them all the time. Zendaya is a good-looking woman for sure, but isnt all that simping just "too much"?? But maybe the movie is totally different,i dont know.

Zendaya is a good-looking woman for sure

She is?

Compared to the stars of yesteryear she’s thoroughly meh. DEI has led to extreme pussy inflation, but in real terms Zendaya is a low-level mid.

As for the wokeness, I have no idea, but a diverse female lead in today’s climate suggests high levels of woke.

THANK YOU MELTON! For looks, Zendaya isn’t remotely comparable to Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Hedy Lamarr, Vivian Leigh, etc.

Well, then who? Who is there? You are talking about stars who were born almost a hundred years ago. I can’t see Elizabeth Taylor playing professional tennis like Zendaya. And you forgot the greatest beauty - Ava Gardner. This movie is about an athlete.

reply

She looks like shit for a woman.

She is ok as a still growing teen. Problem is, she is not a teen anymore and is done growing.

I haven't watched the movie yet but is there really a threesome that involves her and two dudes? Its pretty fucked up that she's the masculine one with two dudes simping for her.

reply

From what I heard - there isn’t a three way. They start off like they’re about to have one by kissing. But it just leads to Zendaya walking out and the 2 guys kissing each other (ick)

reply

That's even worse.

It sounds little like Y tu mamá también. Don’t you think? Done 20 years ago. One of the greatest Alfonso Cuarón movies. Did you see that one?

reply

I saw that one about 20 years ago. It’s not a bad movie, though a little gratuitous at times

There was a huge sex scene in that one. It’s not in Challengers. Challengers goes in a different direction. There are lust and eroticism, but not much sex. The two guys are focused on her and only her. It’s one of the best movies I have seen this year. The ending is nerve racking. As a viewer, you are smacked around all over the place.

Actually by the end it is a throuple. So even more Woke than you could have thought. Also, the umpire was queer. Like not the most realistic.
