Last scene with Maggie....Spoilers

That was just idiotic. Beyond nonsensical. She, along with Darryl and even Jesus are going to do a 180 and become people they've never been? They're the new evil threat Rick will have to contend with? That was so far beyond pathetic I don't know what to call it. These writers really are the worst.

I think I'm the only person who liked this lol. Like many of you though, I don't see it actually going anywhere, unfortunately imo. I actually find it very realistic. In real life, people get sick of one another all the time. Many romances, friendships, and familial relationships end due to differences and/or people changing. Taking all that into consideration, add in the fact that unlike us they live in a world riddled with zombies, violence, and fear, and without modern amenities that most all of them were used to before it kicked off - I could see relationships ending much more quickly and harshly than they do IRL. Plus, it's a new-ish angle. Not really since Shane has there been a real division in the ranks. Yeah, Rick and Daryl have to wrestle every now and again, but nothing major. I think it could be good, but doubt they'll do it. Not all out anyway.

I do fully agree that it will be absolutely ridiculous if Jesus is involved. Everything he has said up to this point has been the polar opposite of violence, and certainly any kind of coup against their own.

Jesus probably just going along with it because they're getting ready for a long rebuilding process and hoping she will change her mind about what comes after. Daryl might be serious about it. He blames Negan for a lot of the stuff Dwight did.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking too. Jesus was probably just trying to be agreeable at the time due to Maggie's emotional state. I did think Daryl and Maggie were serious though. Sure, it'll probably turn out to be the ol' classic Walking Dead bait and switch "dumpster moment" to keep people talking, but Maggie and Daryl certainly have the best reasons to go against Rick & Co.'s wishes. If I were in Rick's shoes, I could try to forgive and find peace. If I were in Maggies, there's absolutely no way in hell I would even consider peace. That's why I liked it and found it realistic. When I look through Rick's and Maggie's points of view, I feel two different ways.

Agree, completely ridiculous. I am fuming about this. It is so OOC for them.

If the writers can't come up with anything other than "division in the ranks" to provide next season's dramatic tension then adios! It's been a fun ride but they shoulda taken a hint from Breaking Bad. Quit whilst ahead
