Could this show survive with out Rick?

I was thinking earlier. I think he is the ONLY character that the show can't kill off, unless they end it too, of course.
I can't see it working with out him. As much as I love Michone, Daryll, Negan, the show would go on with out them, but I think it would all fall apart with out Rick.

Thoughts?

Rick is a walking disaster zone. Get rid of him and they would probably have a space program and have cured cancer in a couple of seasons.

I agree, Rick is like Jimmy Darmody on Boardwalk Empire, he's the focus and center of the show and without him it has no direction.

I'd be more upset if they killed off Daryl.

It is too bold a move the writers would never make. Look at Daryl, he's a character that's completely run its course, but they won't kill him due to popularity, despite his character really not having anywhere else to go now.

I don't think so, oh , maybe for a season, But I have decided that I WILL NOT watch any longer if Rick goes.
