Snyder does good work with shots and visuals. But, his writing is not good. He does well with other people's material. He's just has a hard time reigning in the story from his extra visual hopes.

This movie is a series of scenes that exist only because someone thought they would look "cool". That's why it feels so shallow and meaningless.
