One of the things I enjoyed about this films is that it's not a nostalgia fest. Far too often with films set in the recent past especially the 1970s or 1960s, there is a tendency to pack the soundtrack with lots of golden oldies. The Tom Hank's movie Forrest Gump immediately springs to mind.

shareGood point, I liked the setting and music better than the movie, which I thought was irrelevant, depressing and stupid. Why make a movie about two losers where there was no story but how much of loser they both were?
