pretty unique experience - I think I'll recommend it

I read reviews here - only 2, but whatever
I figured.... heck, it's Mel - I'll give it a shot.
And well.... as I was watching it, I was thinking - shit, they were absolutely right - how far the mighty Mel has fallen - his acting skills are completely gone - whoever directed this did an atrocious job - the acting was that bad from every actor, and the script was also shit. And then..... we get to the ending and it ALL begins to make sense. The ending is brilliant for 2 reasons, but I won't say much more than that except that the ending IS worth it.

After having seen Mel star in quite a few stinkers as of late, I'm glad to have seen him in this.... one of the more unique film watching experiences I've had.
It's a very difficult film to rate - there's a lot of misery that you'll have to sit through prior to the pay off - but due to the uniqueness of the experience, I'm giving it 7 out of 10.

PS. I just read some imdb reviews - not everyone received it the way I did, so I can only assume that opinions about this film will vary by a wide margin.

It's the sort of movie that greatly improves on a second viewing (but only if you watch it with someone that hasn't seen it before)

I'd agree. This was actually pretty solid. Mel Gibson is pretty good in this.

The movie was dumb but Mel was awesome in this as always. He still channels the "every man" vibe.

Was this a theatrical release or straight to NETFLIX??
