As you know, each episode starts with some highlights. Well, the very first highlight is Cash singing, "I saw the light..." Immediately you see the background choir singers. Was that Jodie Foster? The episode then starts with that scene, and you'll see the background singers again, and you'll see her again.

2) Like April-151-CT said, She is too young. This episode aired in march of 74. Look for images of Jodie from the TV Series "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" , a series that aired a few months before this episode. You will see it is not her.
It is not her BUT the episode was directed by Nicholas Colasanto who played Coach on the TV Series "Cheers".
shareYeah, it's not her. I looked at her birth year, and she would have been 12 in 1974. That girl in the choir is older than 12. Anyway, I get a kick out of recognizing celebrities before they make it big. There were many such instances in tv western BONANZA.
