She seems to have studied and knows about the Trinity case, she highlighted Rita's death specifically, wouldn't she know who Rita's husband was? Seems like it would stick out since he worked for Miami PD.

shareNot necessarily. A lot of people can identify David Berkowitz as the Son of Sam but very few recognize his victims. I think in real life they tone down showing the victims out of respect for the victim's family. Possibly same applies here.
shareBut someone pointed out that picture of Rita on her website is from her wedding picture with Dexter, so it leads one to think she seen the wedding picture of her and Dexter and cropped Dexter out of it to get that picture of Rita.
