haven't seen the movie yet, but what bothers me a bit is how young the pennywise actor is (27).
i would have expected a middle aged man. tim curry was 44 when he played the role in the tv adaption. now we have a pennywise who's almost still a kid himself. does that make sense?
The new Pennywise is very effective. He's no Tim Curry but effective nonetheless.
shareI actually don't think the age matters, but whether the actor fits the role. And Tim Curry just did, like a glove, unlike the latter IT actor.
shareI thought Pennywise was great in this movie. I’m a huge fan of the mini series and seen it so many times I can quote it. At one time I watched it once a week! So I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with Pennywise. I found him scarier too.
