Two of the most unremarkable humans who have ever lived...

But because they do singing and pretending we have a miniseries?

Hollywood really is running out of fucking ideas.

reply

Ha. Yes. I am enjoying because its keeping my entertainment as a crazy / over the top / fun / R&R story as filmed.

But It honestly could have been about anyone.

there are literally millions of movies and series on other topics; the serie doesn't glorify them at all, simply the topic of how the whole story unfolded, their crazy personalities, what happened to the carpenter and the wild L.A / Hollywood millionaire lifestyle made it a great story for a fun entertaining serie, nothing more nothing less; just like the serie on O.J Simpson murders.

If the show explicitly focused on the Rogan character and the video tape, that would be fine.

But it clearly focuses on the tedious lives of the titular characters, their romance, their careers, even their ambitions.

There's the problem.

PROBLEM = BIOPIC?

Tune in next week to watch... the Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford show.

They met, then they hung about, then they split up. Gripping stuff.

reply

Very true that they are rather unremarkable humans... however, what happened to them shook the foundations of the world wide web at the time. That part of their story interested me. Those two and the flaccid thumbdick played by Seth Rogan? Not so much.

reply

I disagree. They're remarkably disgusting. What I don't understand is why they didn't live out their days in the trailer park that is so obviously their natural milieu.

reply

Nope.
It's a GREAT series.
Highly recommend.
Anyone under 40 will love this, totally binge worthy.
Sebastian Stan and Lily James are fire 🔥

reply

Why do you have to be under 40 to like it?

reply

At least Tommy had talent.
