Talia should have survived and went to prison

I feel it would have been better if one of the villains had survived to go to prison and have to live with knowing their plan failed and that they were defeated. Plus it's fitting that Talia would go to prison; she was born in a prison, this means she will eventually die in one, too.

And like that you just came up with a better way to write the ending; now wait till the nolanite fan boys go nuts on your for suggesting TDKR was not "absolutely perfect" and you 'just don't understand the story' so you are a 'mindless hater'. Seriously that is what you are going to get. so be prepared for it.

But that ending might leave open the possibility of her escape and a sequel. I think the writers wanted a more conclusive ending

reply

I could understand that, but I don't see it as that big of a deal. She'd be placed in a highest maximum security level prison possible, like a supermax.

reply

Nah no prison could hold her or Bane or Batman. They all escaped the worst prison ever and are extremely dangerous because of this. They all come from the 'league' so no prison would work. They could've made her end better though.

reply

It would require only a little bit of leap of faith. No one's super human. And no one has ever escaped a super max prison either.

reply

we're talking about ninjas that've been trained since birth, so within the rules of Batman's universe, yes, it is entirely plausible they would've escaped a supermax if they could escape the worlds greatest prison. Either that or they would have been tracked down by the remaining members of the league and been broken out.

Naw I thought the way Talia's story ended was fine the way it was. Having her go to prison would have been too cliched.

reply

As opposed to the villain dying, which totally never happens either, right?

reply

I liked the way they handled Talia's story it seemed to work very well. And not all villains die.

reply

That definitely would have been a lot better than what we got (sheesh). But it is a good idea in general, I think. And I’d argue that Bane deserved a similar fate (or at least give him a more impactful exit).

gone to prison not went you idiot
