Morticia and Gomez Addams are supposed to be a firey couple with a lot of passion. There's no way Catherine Zeta-Jones's level of beauty would settle for Luis Guzmán. It's just not working for me. All I see is his ugly sloppy ass betraying Carlito for Benny from the Bronx.
shareAgreed. If he was available, I think the very charismatic Raul Esparza would have made a great Gomez Addams. Why in the world they settled for this fugly guy is beyond me. I noticed there were no ugly fat women in this show. To this day, Hollywood is still a disgrace.

But Raul Julia was the best Gomez in the films/TV. I think trying to find someone who could duplicate what Julia did would have been a mistake. Better that they went back to the comic for inspiration.
