This being netflix - imdb ratings/reviews being bought - and the summary alone ticking off all woke agenda points - I suspect you're right.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he/she was indeed trans, and viewers will learn that in the 2nd season - lol

I saw the extremely overhyped 'Arcane', which features juvenile plot/characters. It's another one of those 'strong female lead' pieces (in other words, woke BS, which explains the very poor writing) - I ain't watching another one of those.

I can't wait until the grifters you listen to talk about something else so I don't have to hear this same bullshit over and over and over again.

Well, depends on what "woke" is. If it's a tv show or movie with a well done, strong female character, it's not necessarily woke. But if it has female characters instead of male, just because (like Ghostbusters 2016 or Oceans 8), then it's woke shite.
