It really seems like the studio has no faith in this and word is test screenings were terrible. Are we expecting another Exorcist 2?

No it can’t be as bad as exorcist 2.. I think exorcist believer isn’t terrible by any means but just generic
shareExorcist II is a "so bad its good" movie, where you laugh at how ridiculous it is.
Exorcist: Believer is just a mediocre, pointless "legacy" sequel trying to mimic what the first film did, with none of the effectiveness of that movie.
