Making fun of Christians

How come making fun of Christians is OK, but not any other group? Btw I'm NOT a Christian.

reply

And it's not like Christians made this movie. Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen are both Jewish.

reply

Ssssssh. Don't point that out, you might get called an antisemitenaziwhowantstogassixmillionjews!!!!

reply

Jews are not too fond of Christians that has been the case for ages.

reply

"Jews are not too fond of Christians that has been the case for ages."

Silverman and Rogen are secular jews. Secular jews generally are not bothered by Christians.
If they hate Christians its because they are worldly not because they are jews per se.

reply

Wrong. Secular Jews are even more anti White because of their left wing ideology. It's right wing Jews who tend to be OK.

reply

We are talking about secular jews being anti-Christian (not anti-white) which has nothing to do with their "judaism" since they are jews by ancestry, tradition only. And no I am not wrong because I am good friends with secular jews and they aren´t bothered by the fact I am a Christian nor are they "anti-white".

reply

Your small sample of secular Jews you know is irrelevant. On the aggregate left wing Jews tend to be anti White as well as anti Christian. It's evident from polls as well as how the media and academia operates and what ideologies they espouse.

And it's ironic you try to argue this when the very two secular Jews we are talking about (Rogen and Silverman) made an obviously anti White and anti Christian tv show so much to the point it got down voted to 1.1. on IMDB. A record low for any motion picture.

reply

"It's evident from polls as well as how the media and academia operates and what ideologies they espouse."

Unless you can cite stats, this statement is equally irrelevant.

"Your small sample of secular Jews you know is irrelevant."

As is using your grand sample size of two, to support your theory.
In addition, Rogen is not your typical secular jew either since Rogen is anti-Israel.

reply

Yes I can. There was a poll on Affirmative action that strongly suggests Jews have anti White bias. Also a poll on American religious communities views on each other shows Christians rate Jews the highest of any group except themselves, while Jews rated Christians the lowest of any group, even lower than Muslims

And I wasn't using solely Silverman and Rogen to support my theory. I was just mentioning them as IRONY since you argue secular Jews aren't anti White on the very board about secular Jews who made an anti White TV show.

He's not anti Israeli, he's just against mistreatment of Palestinians. He isn't against Israel existing.

reply

"suggests Jews have anti White bias"

Which "Jews" though? Jews are not a "one-size fits all" group as you yourself pointed out. And we aren´t talking about being anti-white, we are talking about being anti-Christian. The comment I replied to was about Jews being anti-Christian. All I said was that I knew Jews who are neither anti-Christian nor anti-white.

reply

A representative sample of American Jews. Which means all Jews were included.

I am talking about anti White. If you're not talking about that, then you acknowledge they are anti White. I am also saying they are anti Christian in addition to being anti White (left wing Jews that is)

reply

Because liberals are hypocrites?

reply

Because Christians don't fight back, whereas you piss off Muslims, they chop your head off. People who make fun of Christians are usually cowardly bullies who like picking on people who won't fight back. They love easy targets, and unfortunately can get away with it in a society with "free speech."

reply

"Cowardly bully" is a redundancy, my friend. ALL bullies are cowards.

reply

Very good point.

reply

And if Christians did fight back bullies would use their own scriptures against them and use it as an excuse to disparage all Christians and Christianity.

reply

And of course, they'd use them out-of-context, and spark an even bigger culture war than the one we already have.
