Boring as hell

Yes he was the first man on the moon but this is still just a very boring movie about a very boring man. I walked out of the cinema.

Not boring, unless you feel that the advancement of humans is boring.

Very dull movie, fair play to Neil Armstrong though achieving so much in his life without having a personality

reply

To be fair, Neil Armstrong was a boring man. So a movie about him is going to be boring. I mean the guy basically went into hiding after got back to earth. If they wanted make a movie about someone on Apollo 11 mission with personality. They should have made it about Buzz Aldrin

I was disappointed as well. I was expecting more from this movie. The flying scenes were extremely long and boring. The characters were boring as well. Such an amazing achievement by human kind was portrayed in a such boring manner.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to find this movie interminably boring. I usually love movies about astronauts and the space program but I found my focus drifting throughout the film. It has absolutely nothing to do with the flag controversy; I had actually forgotten about it until I read the responses here. The moon landing scenes were well done and stand out in an otherwise sleep-inducing snore-fest.

reply

Because it's not a movie about astronauts. I think people missed the reason this was made.
