Fury Road still kicks ass though.
Easily Fury Road.
Just from a movie perspective it's structured considerably better whereas Furiosa basically restarts after 40 minutes, has it's two major action sequences in the middle of the movie (And that's pretty much the end of the action too) and mainly functions as a story or lore fill-in piece.
That's exactly why I prefer Furiosa. It has much more story and more interesting characters, alongside more varied locations. It feels like the most encompassing realization of Miller's post-apocalyptic Aussie world.
Fury Road is pure action, very well executed, but the story has always been a bit bare bones, contained and linear. It largely serves as a prolonged action set piece on the road. Furiosa is more epic in scope with more ebbs and flows.
Less is more.
