im confused. why directly rip and recycle lines and characters and scenes... but then also change things and make it a musical? so its different enough to say "hey its not a shot for shot remake! and sprinkle in member berries?

They race swapped Caddie's friends Damien and Janice. Kind of annoying since Mean Girls was already diverse. It being a musical brings something different to it and it gives me something to go to the movies for in January.
