Good Movie But. . . . .

For the most part I enjoyed this movie, except that I didn't care for the ending, nor did I like the lead male's character! He was one of the most stupid, selfish characters I've ever seen in a film! Everything bad - and I mean everything - that happened to this couple was because of him.

I knew what direction it was going in as soon as the chained bodies were found but there was still some suspense and being that the whole movie was underwater, it was quite unique.

I thought the ending was fine. They teased the heroine’s escape as much as they could. She had to die to set up a sequel, as indicated in the post credits scene . Her bf was a bit of an idiot, but ya almost always gotta have idiots to make a horror movie

What was your interpretation of the post credit scene ?
Why was there a concerned look on those two girls faces ?

reply

I think they were just nervous about the dive. Two girls, a guy they just met drives them to a secluded spot. I agree it would've been a better expression if they were excited about the dive.

reply

Yeah it would make more sense if they look excited
A bit confusing the worried look on their faces .

He reminded me of a character in another specific horror movie I can't remember the name of. I can picture the guys face. He goes camping with his gf although he's never been. He spends the whole movie being an annoying a-hole. I wish I could remember the name of the movie. In this movie, I couldn't wait until he died.

EDIT: The other movie is Splinter. That curly haired nerd with the camping girlfriend.

I really enjoyed the setting and it was suspensful and creepy, but as soon as they removed the masks from the bodies all suspense was gone. Still worth a watch.
