Personally think the critics will laud any old shit Peele puts out. "Us" was total garbage in my opinion yet is supposedly amazing. "Get Out" was good but I didn't see anything extraordinary about it.

shareI've said it on his page and I'll say it here, I think he might become another M. Night. You can view that as a good or bad thing depending on your opinion of Shyamalan but the consensus would be that his peak came early on and the quality of his work gradually started to deteriorate. Like M Night, Peele seems to be dealing in similar genres and comes up with interesting premises that don't quite hit the mark with the execution, or at least Us didn't, and some reviews suggest this Nope doesn't either. Only difference is that Peele is more race-orientated and is scoring more woke points with critics because of it.
