Sent back to their respective universes "corrected" no less at the moments before they were about to do final battle with Spider-Man and die.

Therefore I'm wondering if this film effectively breaks the continuity of all the non MCU films universes?

They would have created alternate timelines according to Loki. But that begs the question, did Spider-man really save anyone? The versions of them that died will still die, and there are infinite other versions who didn't die anyway. Best not think about it too hard.

I enjoyed Loki but I don't really take it as having any bearing on the films. I'm not sure either how Doctor Strange's magic would tie in with that... e.g. Wouldn't he himself be earmarked for removal as the first point of creating the divergence?

But it is fun to think about - You could even question Doc Ock's existence if Norman Osborne was sent back pre Death into the end of the first Spiderman.
