Way too much going on with other people involved. Maya storyline was totally unnecessary. The Larpers were unnecessary.
It was wonderful to see Kingpin. There is no way he is dead.
Jeremy Renner was great as usual. I liked Hailee Steinfeld in the role, although she had too much screen time. This show is called Hawkeye afterall.
There are some big problems with the show, but I enjoyed quite a bit of it as well.
5/10 for me.
Yeah, the show is called Hawkeye and it ends with a young woman defeating Kingpin while Hawkeye is defeated by a different young woman.
I would have recommended making Hawkeye the hero of the Hawkeye show, but what do I know.
Maya and Kingpin both sheemed shoe-horned in. Yelena made sense. I wish they have done more with the Swordsman. I liked the Larpers.
shareIt wasn't just about the Hawkeye we know, but the future Hawkeye as well which happens to be Kat Bishop. The comic run this is based on is very similar and follows both Clint and Kate too.
shareI absolutely could not stand the inclusion of the Larpers. I'm surprised I haven't seen more complaints about it to be honest. When they showed up at the end, and it cut to Clint smiling saying "we are going to die", I was like yup. That's my reaction.
