Ziggy ruined this series for me

Ziggy (sorry his The Wire character, can't remember his name on this show), the driver of the Rolling Stone mag writer Humvee, just drivers me crazy with all his nonsense talking?

For an episode or two I felt the same way, I found him annoying on the wire too, but after a couple of eps he started becoming one of my favourite characters because the *beep* he talks actually makes sense.

He makes a clown of himself to put the men around him at ease and keep up their morale, you can tell that behind all that he's actually pretty smart.

The way I understand it from reading the book, Pearson was like that in the actual event as well, but afterwards, was nearly silent much of the time. Apparently it was the Ripped Fuel he was on whenever awake to stay alert. Made him more than a little hyper...

I thought this was pretty obvious. Brad even questioned why Cpl. Josh Ray Person was so silent all of a sudden towards the end. He told Brad, "No more Ripped Fuel."

Off-topic: The stuff was reported as causing injuries and deaths in the U.S. Military. Some Army pilot said it cost him his career.

Omg it's really annoying....i guess you need to add some different personalities...but damn...really throws off the vibe

Person is one of the only characters I remember off the top of my head 10+ years after watching the show. I thought his hyperness made him fucking hilarious. I remember him, and the "main" character, whatever his name was... the big tall dude played by Skarsgard... and that's it. (Edit 10 min later: it took me this long to remember the journalist, just now.) There are discussion threads in here about other characters like Trombley and Capt America etc. and of course I remember them too... but not off the top of my head, I had to look them up first.

Same here. I'm rewatching it at the moment after ten years, and Ray is probably still the most memorable character. Encouraging the reporter to press his cock to the ground as tanks go by is something that sticks with you.
