Was this movie any good?
I remember watching the trailer and thinking that this looked like a good movie. But I never actually watched it.
So tell me, was it any good? Is it worth a watch? Would you recommend it?
One of the BEST action movies I’ve ever seen, bar none.
shareI guess you don't watch many action movies. While it wasn't a bad movie it was really just an average or slightly above average movie. But too much of it was predictable after the first 15 minutes of the movie. The girl played her part well, but the Cate's roll was so cliched it hurt.
shareI’ve almost certainly been watching action movies for longer than you’ve been alive. First, I don’t care if it’s predictable. The more one has seen, the easier it is to predict. I care if it is well executed, and Ronan delivers. Yes, the antagonist is weak, but Ronan holds up her end. Yes, the director is weak, but Ronan hold up her end. Give me an actor who is not an action star who trains herself to a level where she embarrasses every woman action actress in a Marvel movie except for Gina Carano, and I am sold, happy, impressed. You may not be. I’m not you.

Which kind of makes sense when you seem to think Gina Carano is a actress worth watching. She is one of the worst actresses that has popped up in bigger budget movies since Cynthia Rothrock. I don't care if an actor has trained in martial arts since they were 5, it doesn't make them a good actor.
The bottom line is I'm not you. I don't like crappy actor in movies nor do I want to watch a movie that is so predictable that I could tell you what is going to happen after only seeing a few minutes of the movie. I suppose when I get old and senile my taste might change, who knows.
Look up “argument as hominem” sometime, when you’re not too busy being so impressed with yourself. By the way, the John Wick movies are a mess.
