How to describe such horror?

It's one of the worst things I've ever seen. If they didn't make so much money I would actually feel sorry for them. How delusional do you have to be to do something like that and actually think you are being cool?

Three new characters (in this universe), who we haven't had development for, are underdevelop and thus I can't care about them because they're as deep as a shallow river. When half of your characters can be easily replaced by cardboard cut outs and have no impact to how the movie plays out, that's a problem.

The villain sucks, I mean if we're truly comparing Marvel stuff to this, then at least villains like Ultron has a lot of interest and character to him (he's just as much of a smartass as Tony [because Tony made him]) and his desire makes sense because we spend some time with him to understand why he's doing what he does, he feels fleshed out (especially by then end). I know jackshit about Steppenwolf besides that he's the bad guy looking for the macguffin's (no depth and another character that can be a cardboard cut out).

The filmmaking, very bland and ugly at times (the climax being almost nothing but horrendous red is ugly and annoying). For a movie supposedly directed by Snyder, the movie looked closer to a TV show than a movie (and don't get me wrong, the first Avengers looked like TV too, but the other quality elements made up for that, can't say the same for Justice League).

The lack of emotion, there is no heart or emotion put in this film. Say what you will about Apocalypse, but it still had scenes like this in it. There is some genuine emotion in scenes like those and it makes the movie better because the characters feel real in these kind of scenes, Justice League has no such scene like it. No personal reflection, no growing as a person, and nothing even close to try to make these characters feel real. And because of that, the film just feels heartless.

Why Justice League Failed

Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon's Justice League had a bumpy ride making it to the big screen. Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill and Ray Fisher, there's a lot riding on DC's newest superhero addition to the DCEU. But does it do Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Flash and Cyborg justice? I don't think so, and I dig into why here.

Modern filmmaking pretty much is lots of cgi, digital color tone and lame jokes in every scene. Also, dialogue the director wants the audience to hear but has no real relevance or plausibility in the plot. In short, they have zero talent.

Why do you even bother watching new movies? You hate everything made after 1955!

LetThemEatCake It's not great but I don't hate it. Do you honestly think you are being so cool for whining about it so intensively? Especially when it's the popular opinion to hate it.
