Zero rewatch value

I respectfully disagree. In my humble opinion:

Seasons 1-4 was great
Seasons 5-6 was good to very good
Season 7 was okay
Season 8 was watchable at best

Just finished my first rw. Still immensely entertaining.

Hmm for me anything that has names/plotlines that are hard to keep track of first time around, has great rewatch value. I love spoilers. Gustavo Woltmann

After the train wreck that was Season 8 it just isn't much fun to begin a rewatch knowing you're going to go off the cliff eventually.

I have to agree. I used to rewatch it every year, but given how terribly it ended I am not that interested.

It wouldnt be as bad if GRRM would at least finish the books and give us a proper ending but it looks like he'll croak before that. Shit ending in the TV series versus no ending in the books. Although they'll probably do what happened with Stieg Larsson.

After not seeing the first several seasons in awhile I just marathoned this until the 2nd to last episode where I stopped. The finale is rubbish imo..

It's a good show with excellent dialog it just fails badly towards the very end. I'll probably re-watch again with my kids in about 5-7 years after I forget much of it..

The whole show is basically ruined for me. Last year I did a rewatch of the first four seasons when they were airing on Japanese TV. I got as far as the season 4 finale and then just couldn't bring myself to continue on to season 5. The first four seasons are still pretty good but even they feel pointless because you know they're leading up to nothing. No, not nothing; to garbage, which is worse than nothing.
