Childish, upbeat ending - what about the murdered friend?

So the daughter goes through the horror of the events which might give hardened pro's PTSD, but she is seen at the end going for singing lessons, not a mention or tear for her dead friend or visiting her relatives to explain?

I think U2 is partly to blame

I heard they set up the sex ring in the first place for their buddies in the badlands.

Now I see it. Lure female fans to follow them on tour then target them at the airport. No wonder Bono wears those shades.

He's a master criminal, the likes of which only a Bond type character could take down.

Wait until the next James Bond movie: Achtung Baby.

reply

Nope, it was the fault of the perverted sex traffickers.

reply

I agree, immature scriptwriting for yet ANOTHER cliched Hollywood ending.

The blonde friend was an idiot with whorish tendencies. Like with the early 80s slasher films, this movie had its heart in the right place. The dumb ho'bags die an ugly death for their promiscuity, while the virginal good girls survive.

reply

Heart in the right place? What? Women who express a desire for sex should die? She wasn’t even promiscuous. Women can’t say they want sex without weirdos wanting them to die an ugly death. You’re vile.

You were here for 1 month, mainly for Captain Marvel, and now, like the movie, you are GONE.

Say hi to slut Amanda for me. No one wants to fuck a smelly French guy.

Just because we don't see her mention her friend doesnt mean she hasn't. That scene with the singing lessons may have been weeks or months later. She' had time to grieve maybe even therapy. Now the father is trying to help his daughter get on with her life.

reply

Exactly ^^^. This doesn't need to be spoon-fed.
