Multiverse or just magic ticket from "Last Action Hero"?

Why do these alternative universes have previous Batman actors?
Okay, I get it, just a fun nostalgic reference for the viewers, but why go full retard and even have the old Batman and Robin serial film in black and white?
Why does every noteworthy detail in the different verses revolve around movies?

Might as well call it a remake of Last Action Hero.

Last Action Hero was pretty good. I think if I had that ticket I'd just go into movies where really hot famous actresses were playing characters that I'd have a shot with. Like Heather Graham in From Hell, I'd get there right before Jack the Ripper, I might even stop Jack the Ripper to impress her because he was just a short old fart in the film.

lol at the randomness of that, however in From Hell it looked like the 'short old fart' Jack The Ripper was possessed by some demonic entity when he was ready to kill so I wouldn't fancy my chances of not getting butchered

I never really took that away from the film, I always thought he was efficient at surgery and thus good at chopping up malnourished prostitutes who could not fight back. I'm going to have to watch that film again, and also figure out what ever happened to the other half of that magic ticket.

Weak writing using Multiverse, magical Super Powers, and time travel have now replaced the weak writing of "It was all just a dream".

lol there is def an element of that 5y old writing his first essay 'and it was all just a dream.' I got that feel from The Flash and some of the MCUs (No Way Home, maybe Infinity War/Endgame abit which felt like Lord of the Rings with superheroes meets BTTF2) and other stuff way back like Star Trek Generations, in fact I think it was one of the writers of that who was later critical of what they did and said something like whenever you give a character control of time there's a risk of it going all make a wish/it was all a dream unless its done well like Star Trek IV, BTTF etc

Obviously the writers of these later day 'far out' superhero movies can just be like 'yeah well we just adapting the famous Infinity Saga/Flashpoint storyline from the iconic 80s comics '

You have to think what must the legacy actors think like keaton, maguire, RDJ, Jackman etc who's initial superhero films with respected 'proper' directors were all pretty grounded in a sort of real world way, getting the call to be in these extreme scifi/fantasy 'legacy sequels' involving wizards, aliens, timetravel/multiverses/meeting other variants of their characters, they must be like 'WTAF?? All I did in the first movie was fight a human villain. WTF is this star trek meets lord of the rings BS?? .. Oh well I guess its what kids wanna see these days including my grandkids who go nuts over all this stuff so i'll do it to be cool for them.. And damn look at all them zeros!'

''WTAF?? All I did in the first movie was fight a human villain'

Pretty much Batman's reaction in The Flash! 😂
