I really love this franchise and here's my ranking

FD - 9/10 - great and original storyline, acting, deaths, everything

FD 2 - 10/10 - I know, many people will disagree with this rank but it's my own opinion. First of all, death scenes were shocking and really impressive, Second, this part includes many adult characters who showed great acting compared to talentless teens from FD 3, 4 and 5

FD 3 - 3/10 - very boring. Solarium scene was the only decent death. That's all plus the leading actress was sooooooo annoying

FD 4 - 3/10 - another amateur FD movie with idiotic deaths and horrible acting

FD 5 - 6/10 - this one looked more or less good compared to previous 2 films.

Basically how I would rank them, but swap 5 and 2.

FD, FD2, FD3... I like them in that order. I would say all together for me the trilogy is a 6-7/10 for entertainment purposes. First two are the best and the third one was allright. No particular rating for each though. I haven't seen the 5th, tried watching part 4 but couldn't get past the first few minutes.

Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.

1. Final Destination. Really creepy, best opening disaster and some cool death scenes. The acting is far from Oscar worthy, but I thought it was decent. 9/10

2. Final Destination 3. Loved this one, thought the pictures hinting at the deaths were a great addition and I loved the deaths themselves. I find this one to be the most gruesome of the FD movies. 8/10

3. Final Destination 5. The bridge collapse was second only to the plane crash in terms of the opening disasters. There were cool and lame deaths in this one, but overall I thought it was a good film. Love how they tied it all together at the end too. 8/10

4. Final Destination 2. Car pileup was a little over the top, but not bad. I thought the characters were okay but could have been better. The deaths were cool at least. I think Alex not returning hurt this one a little bit. 7/10

5. The Final Destination. Awful special effects, bland and unlikable characters and lame death scenes. This one had the potential to be very good, but it just fell flat on just about every level. I feel like they really rushed the production here and this was the end result. 4/10 just because I still do watch it for some reason.

FD 2
FD 5 (not the worst)
for me those 3 films are pretty much a tight little trilogy.

FD 3 + 4 are write-offs.

Those are ratings, not rankings

My ranking is:

1) FD2 (Does everything a good sequel should. Maintains continuity, expands on lore, increases spectacle and kill count)
2) FD
3) FD3
4) FD5
5) FD4 (absolutely atrocious piece of shit)
