I really love this franchise and here's my ranking

FD - 9/10 - great and original storyline, acting, deaths, everything

FD 2 - 10/10 - I know, many people will disagree with this rank but it's my own opinion. First of all, death scenes were shocking and really impressive, Second, this part includes many adult characters who showed great acting compared to talentless teens from FD 3, 4 and 5

FD 3 - 3/10 - very boring. Solarium scene was the only decent death. That's all plus the leading actress was sooooooo annoying

FD 4 - 3/10 - another amateur FD movie with idiotic deaths and horrible acting

FD 5 - 6/10 - this one looked more or less good compared to previous 2 films.

I've yet to see 4 & 5. I plan on watching them over the next few days. Thus far my preliminary rankings are;

1. Final Destination 3
2. Final Destination 2
3. Final Destination

The first two entries in this franchise are neck-and-neck for me. Hard to decide between them. I find the third one to be a much better looking film (when I revisited 1 & 2 last year they both looked quite dated and low budget), plus MEW is my favorite lead in the franchise. Couple those together with some of the more memorable deaths occurring in part 3 and it's the runaway favorite.

I'm surprised to see some people including OP calling FD3 boring. I watched it last night as part of a triple-bill with My Bloody Valentine (2009) & Cherry Falls (2000). FD3 was the most entertaining film of the three and just in general I'd describe it as a very fast paced and extremely entertaining film.

yeah i mean.. 4 is just absolute trash
i'd rate 3 higher, the roller coaster was DOPE
