Great movie, but I need to point out the obvious
They would have noticed Jigsaw was breathing and alive.
shareThey would have noticed Jigsaw was breathing and alive.
shareIn Saw III, a flashback shows him taking a sedative that would likely impair his breathing and movement. On the other hand, Lawrence should have figured that the "corpse" wasn't in a state of decomposition or whatever, being a doctor.
shareOr Zep just goes to the police and ask medical help with the poison, while also leading the police to John.
shareIt takes time to find out how the poison works and what antidotes can be used to stop it. He would risk dying if he went to the authorities for help, so he chose to do what Jigsaw instructed him to do.
shareJigsaw wasn't an expert with chemicals, it's very unlikely that he used some kind of rare poison.
shareOn top of that, Zep’s clearly having too much fun terrorising Gordon’s family so the twist that revealed him to be an merely a test subject felt half-assed and somewhat forced.
Saw IV did a better job of incorporating the unwilling accomplice/pawn aspect with Art Blank.
