I read the book as a kid and I grew up watching the movie. Personally, I think it's the best Christmas movie ever made! I would recommend it, along with any of my other favorite Christmas movies: Dr. Suess's How the Grinch Stole Christmas, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Muppet's Christmas Carol, Home Alone, Arthur Christmas, Home Alone: Lost in New York, A Christmas Carol, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Scourged.

I am almost 70, and the bell still rings for me.
I never really dug this movie.
It's one the many Christmas movies I own and I've never actually watched this movie more than once.
But to each their own.

The art style doesn't do it for me.
Kinda of a dull movie
I remember the hype, and then how underwhelming it actually was. It seems to be mostly forgotten now.
