It started to suck around season 6

It started sucking a long time ago.

Yea... this is the same guy who when he finally got the chance to have sex with a hot blonde he was lusting after for an entire SEASON (season 4)... he immediately lost all interest in her when he noticed that she had a picture of George W. Bush in her dressing room. That time he was also THAT close to doing the deed with her, and then Larry called the whole thing off once he discovered that she was a republican, lol.

And remember how Jeff reacted when Larry told him about that? He went off on Larry and said that he would screw her even if she had a Bush mask on! XD Larry, on the other hand, has standards. :D While in retrospect I can’t say I blame Larry for that one tbh, I’m sure I speak for most guys (regardless of what their beliefs are) when I say it would have been extremely hard to turn down sex with Cady in that moment. And that’s the thing — Larry isn’t most guys. Or, people in general.

So Larry foolishly ruining his chance to have sex with the babe with the magical vagina? That’s 100% Larry! I mean I saw that coming from a mile away. To me this was not at all out of character for him; there are many examples of Larry ruining a good thing over something that would be considered to be trivial by most. And no, this season has been pretty (x3) good so far. Much better than the last one. You’re free to bail.

It's these little dilemmas that the show specializes in.
Do you want sex or the $500 you feel you are rightly owed?
Do you want to get to the baseball game late or hire a hooker so you can carpool?
Do you want to sleep with your new girlfriend or worry that you have no toothbrush?
Do you want to fly coach to be with your injured girlfriend right away or risk her ire on a first class seat that arrives late?
And so on.
