Similar movies?

Hi there. Any recommendation on similar movies? I like all the dark athmosphere and the demonic research kind of movies (There is not much as good as this one)
Sorry for my english.

This movie reminded me a lot of Rosemary's Baby and The Omen. There's also a very similar vibe in another Polanski thriller set in Paris with Emmanuelle Seigner in it: Frantic - just, minus the satanic stuff.

In terms of outright craziness, try Possession (1981).

To me this is a unique movie. I don't like horror or supernatural movies, and I do not like Johnny Depp either, but there is something about this movie that I really like. But I cannot think of anything close to it.

This movie is exceptional.

Spring is kind of similar minus the satanic stuff. https://moviechat.org/tt3395184/Spring

The Spanish Prisoner is also similar but again, no demonic stuff. https://moviechat.org/tt0120176/The-Spanish-Prisoner

Eyes Wide Shut is similar and has some demonic themes I suppose. https://moviechat.org/tt0120663/Eyes-Wide-Shut

But Spring and TSP fall a little short in my opinion, kind of like TNG does. Sure, TNG is kind of intriguing but leaves too many unanswered questions. Eyes Wide Shut is a good film though.

I guess you could say any film that has demonic rituals is similar, which those are not hard to find. Plenty of 70s and 80s horror films we're like this, just to name a few, To The Devil A Daughter, Hellraiser, Children Of The Corn, The Wicker Man, Rosemary's Baby. It was actually kind of popular in those old throw back horror films to have rituals in them. The Exorcist and other films like it have godly rituals instead of the demonic ones.

Anyhow, here's a list of ritual films... https://www.imdb.com/search/keyword/?keywords=satanic-ritual

I’d suggest The Witch, or The Witchfinder General. Both have disturbing endings.

Maybe you won't see this 4 yrs later. Not exactly the same theme, but same director, similar dark feel. Noirish. The Ghost Writer. Good movie. Might as well check out Chinatown if you haven't either (also Polanski)

Angel Heart (1987)
Lord of Illusions (1995)
John Carpenter's Cigarette Burns (2005) - from the Masters of Horror television series.
Hellraiser: Inferno (2000)
