Is this cast cursed?
- Paul Walker died.
- Ron Lester just died.
- Joe Pichler has gone missing since 2008.
Was just about to ask the same thing. It's so sad.

shareThere is no such thing as a "curse" so no. Everyone who was in any film will be dead eventually.
shareYeah "cursed films" are so stupid. I remember someone saying Home Alone was cursed because a few people from it are dead. A 30 year old movie... lol
Interesting thing about that missing actor, Joe Pichler. Its weird he hasn´t been declared legally dead after being missing for 13 years...
Yeah John Candy died a few years after this came out at a young age. The other 2 who died more recently were 87 and 71. Not really tragic.

shareSo whenever a driver has an accident and kills a passenger, its the passenger´s fault. Good to know I guess.
shareIf only it was this simple he chose to be passenger in a high power sports car which was being driven by one of his friends at excessive speeds who crashed because they was going way to fast losing control.
Driver is at fault
It's puzzling why Paul would even let his friend drive.
The law suits are ridiculous should never have even been heard in court if I was judge I would have thrown them out at the start.
So to recap this curse:
- An actor whose biggest asset was being morbidly obese, went thru a series of experimental and dangerous surgeries and lost a dramatic amount of weight. He later admitted that he wasn't happy and he regretted it, and it ended his career. A few years later he died of kidney and liver failure at 45 years old.
- A young action star, whose biggest career success was in movies centered around fast cars, gets killed riding in a Porsche at high speeds.
- A child actor goes missing, is presumed to have committed suicide, despite no one finding his body.
Meanwhile the rest of the cast.
While he hasn't been able to top Dawson's Creek, Van Der Beek is still around and doing fine.
Ali Larter and Amy Smart have had success since then.
Jon Voight has had a tremendous 3rd act to his career since then. Now he's semi-retired.
Scott Caan had the Ocean's 11 movies, and is finishing a 10 year run on Hawaii 5-O.
