While there are many good quotes in the film, this is one I remind myself of daily when its applicable.

“Stop trying to hit me and hit me!”

Whoops, wrong film.

“It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything”.

And so many other Tyler lines. Mostly for the way he delivers them.

One of the lines that made me laugh was Tyler referring to a poster of a male model in underwear with tits and a six pack and saying "Is this what a man looks like?" or words to that effect. It made me laugh because Brad Pitt clearly has a similar body in the film.

I love the line about working jobs we hate to buy shit we don't need as well. So true.

"You met me at a very strange time of my life"

"Fuck damnation, man! Fuck redemption! We are God's unwanted children? So be it!"

The things you own end up owning you. I'm paraphrasing from memory.

We're a generation rased by women, I am wondering if another woman is really the answer we need.
