it is entertaining, interesting characters, sometimes nice music, good performances.

I would not go as far to call it great but it is a good movie and there are great parts in it.

The original is a classic. The remake added nothing new. The characters in the remake weren't very interesting, and I almost never find Wahlberg to be any one I want to follow. The movie was flat, and the ending thoroughly stupid.

I enjoyed it as well, I think my favorite character was Thade. He was so badass and sexy for a monkey, lol! 😋😋

I've liked it since release - although it obviously can't compare to the original, it is quite entertaining and the prosthetics are next level.
