''Here''ford? Not Hereford?

I know that some Americans might not be familiar with this city, but it's pronounced 'Herrifd' not Heerfd or Heerforrd.

Comical.

I haven't rewatched it for that scene, but wasn't it DeNiro's character saying it?

As an American, he might mispronounce it, or even do so on purpose to test Sean Bean's character.

It never fazed me because that's how most Americans who'd never heard it pronounced would say the name. Now, whether Stellar Skateboard's character was using a similar pronunciation out of jest or similar ignorance is up for debate.

He was German, so he might not have been familiar with the name, either.

Fair point. As previously said, I wasn't bothered by the mispronunciation because that just happens with different regional accents. Listen to an American who's never heard Worcestershire pronounced try to do it, for instance.

It’s pronounced ‘Heh-reh-ford’ and it’s pretty unforgivable getting it wrong seeing as Sean Bean was in the scene and could have corrected them. Weird.
