Other than some cringy lines in the romantic scenes this movie is good

It's BORING.

No it is not, LOL. It's the worst in the entire franchise. Bad dialogue and acting, effects, even the action sucks.

Seriously. The haters have done nothing but amplify the same few awkward bits of dialogue to encompass the entire quality of the movie, ignoring everything that it does well. It tells a good overall narrative with a mystery & overall plot that actually make sense without lazily forcing the audience to fill in plot holes with asinine fan theories.

So many people have just taken for granted the amount of detail that went into skillfully crafting every detail that went into the expansive world building of this film. Lore & World building that had significant impact on the franchise, which has continued to benefit from for the past 2 decades. Simply put, you can debate about the execution of the movie itself in terms of enjoyment but the level of creativity & earnest craft that went into the overall narrative & world building was objectively good Star Wars.

I agree with Anakin. Sand equates to Hate. I don't like when people throw sand.

Technically speaking, it does a decent job of building upon the Star Wars story but as a film, I don't think it's very good. But what else could Lucas do with this story? I really don't know... all the unanswered questions found in the OT needed answers. So, this is what we got...

However, if the PT would have been released first, I don't think I would have been nearly as interested in the Star Wars galaxy as much as I was when the OT was released.

That being said, Episode III is at least a decent movie and the best of the PT. Episodes I and II are garbage in my view.

Hayden just had bad directing and dialogue to work with. Nobody could have made that work. Honestly they should reshoot those scenes with deaging technology and have a competent screenwriter and director work with Hayden and Natalie. It would greatly improve the movie.

I totally agree, it’s overall a solid film. Sure some of the dialogue could have been better but it’s far better than the POS Disney films.

i understand the hates.

it have poor story. story is too complicate, too unclear. what is story? is it about army of republic? the assasinations? jango? i dont understand.

it have many scene that dont work like the droid factory. what is point of this scene? 10 mins of anakin & padmae running around factory? boring!! chase scene on coruscant city? goes on way too long!! i fall asleep!

where is the space dogfights? where is anakin & obi wan leading big ground battle? this should be main thing seen in prequel. not naboo and chase and podrace. lucas waste script on boring thing, show us anakin and obi wan being great warrior like said in original trilogy.

only thing i like about this film is new ships like Jedi Starfighter, republic gun ship and Slave 1 again. this film feel more like star wars film than Phantom Menace, but still ultimately suck. what a waste of time star wars prequel are.
