Have you met anyone who actually hasn't seen this movie?

I didn't think it was possible, but my friend has never seen this movie. Aside from most little children, I would've never expected someone to actually answer, "I've never seen that movie" when talking about it. You just assume everyone has seen it because it's such a popular movie and was insanely talked about when it was released. Even if you were born after its release date.

Maybe it's a dumb thought, but I really can't think of another movie where it's deemed, "A movie everyone has seen before". With all the memes and parodies done, how? lol. Anyone else?

Bruh I just watched it today for the first time, 23 years after it was released. I'm 40. I boycotted it for the longest time because I always rebel against things that are too popular. That and it looked like a chick flick. And I hate that Celine Dion song. And it's fucking over three hours long! Ain't nobody got time fo' dat!

No, it's like the first Matrix. Everyone has seen it

I just got my father to watch it a few months ago. His reasons for not wanting to see it was that “he already knew the ending.” And he didn’t have much interest in watching a love story. I was able to convince him that as movie fan, and as someone that has an interest in the titanic from a historical perspective, he really needed to see.

With an average ticket price of 10 bucks Titanic must have made at least 70 billion when everybody has seen it...

i did not know you had to pay a ticket to watch Titanic on TV

Is Titanic in between public domain? 🤔 If not someone has to pay for the viewing rights.

Sure. I know a bunch of people who've never seen this. I know one guy who's never seen a Leo movie period. He's very proud of it, it's one of the first things he tells people whenever movie discussion comes up.
