Versace

Anybody found it relatable besides the obvious laugh. I didn’t take just as a joke. I grew up with so many people that didn’t pronounce words right, even now, it kinda stayed with me and many times I do it on purpose as a humble reminder. I really liked that they added this in a hollywood film where they usually don't make such obvious mistakes.

I always knew how it was pronounced. Always surprised by how many didn’t know.

I'm from Europe so we know how to pronounce foreign words.

if she was a fat bearded blue-collar guy, then it would have been relatable, but for a young hot girl who wants to work in an environment that is all about looks and fashion? no way. i mean, even i know how to pronounce versace!

also, she mentions that her mom was italian, so it's all the more ridiculous that she doesn't know the pronunciation of one of the most famous italian names.

I know a Hispanic guy who can’t speak Spanish and even pronounced his own surname wrong! I guess it depends on how connected the person is with their background and how connected their parents are with it.

Why did strike me as off though is Versace is a well known brand so I figured she would know how to pronounce it.
