is this the best version most close to the book?

Does anyone know?

The closest I ever saw was a made-for-television movie that was released in England. One of its scenes was so shocking (Dracula's vampire brides drinking the blood of a live baby) it was edited out when shown on American television (us Americans can be so wussy at times!!!).

They titled it “ Bram Stoker’s Dracula” for some copyright reason. This has as much relationship to the book as a skateboard has to a Maserati. Among all the other bullshit already noted, vampires CANNOT WALK IN THE DAYLIGHT. They are not “much weakened” in the day, THEY ARE PARALYZED! All the fucking vamp movies throw out parts of the myth they find inconvenient. When the Sun is up (i.e., when Light is ascendant) Evil CAN’T MOVE. None of this “hide in the shadows” crap. For HALF A DAY, on average, your bloodsucker is helpless. Hollywood doesn’t like that. Tough shit.

I'd say this version and also Billy the Kid vs Dracula, since in that one also, Dracula is able to move around during the daytime hours
