Aladdin or Beauty and Beast?

It is interesting that Beauty and the Beast got the best picture nomination (and it was an excellent movie BTW) when I thought Aladdin was just as good if not better.

Which of the two movies do you prefer?

If we're talking about the original 90s films, "Beauty and the Beast" by a narrow margin. The films are very different, but both are so excellent that I love them both.

If we're talking about the new live-action remakes, they both suck.

aladdin by far, better story, better animation, more interesting characters, story was more unique.
