Which Is Better?? SEINFELD or The OFFICE

How about it?? What's your preferred go to sitcom between the 2 of them if both are on at the same time?? I love both and have them on DVD, but for some reason, SEINFELD is always on in the background and it's memorable moreso.. I enjoy The Lip Reader, the episode where George thinks he has Jon Voight's vehicle, spelled Jon with an "H".. LOL!!!! Then on The OFFICE, I always gravitate toward Season 4 & 5 when Ryan took over Dunder Mifflin with Dwight holding the pizza delivery driver hostage in that 1 episode and in Season 5, The Michael Scott Paper Company episode was very well done LOL!!!

reply

I'm watching SEINFELD right now while smoking a bowl and the one I have on is "The Lip Reader".. LOL!!!

Seinfeld had seven solid seasons (while Larry David was involved). The Office got boring by the third season.

I felt like The OFFICE wore out it's welcome once Steve Carrell left the show.. Really, looking back on it, The OFFICE could've ended when Jim & Pam got married as a final episode for the series since it did revolve around them along with Michael Scott??

reply

True. I will say I enjoyed the first few episodes with James Spader. His character got nicer after a while and that just wasn't as funny as him saying things like, "Oh, I'm sorry. I've lost interest in what you were saying" (or something like that).

reply

THE OFFICE.

reply

Yeah, I have all 5 Seasons, but like I said, it should've ended at that point

reply

NO...I OWN ALL NINE SEASONS...I ENJOY THE ENTIRE RUN...COUPLE TIMES A YEAR I REWATCH THE ENTIRE SERIES...UK FIRST THEN US.

The Office was a great show, but I didn't like Bernard as the new boss. They made him out to be some kind of replication of Michael. It wasn't the same after Michael, but it was still funny and better than most shows at the time.

reply

THEY NEVER KNEW WHAT TO DO WITH ANDY....HE WAS NOT MEANT TO SURVIVE THE MERGER...BUT ED HELMS WAS SO GOOD THEY COULD NOT HELP BUT KEEP HIM...THEY JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE CHARACTER...HIS "CHARACTER ARC" IS THE BIGGEST NEGATIVE OF THE WHOLE SHOW...EVEN THOUGH I DO LOVE THE CHARACTER

reply

Ed Helms is a very talented actor, which is why what they did with his character is a little frustrating. His character has changed since the first time we met him. Bernard may have been the most educated of all the characters, but they made him seem as dumb as Michael.

For me Creed was the best character in the series.

reply

I HAVE A CAT NAMED CREED IN HIS HONOR...I HAVE A ROBERT CALIFORNIA AND A PRISON MIKE TOO...THEY'RE ALL ORANGE...WE CALL THEM THE OFFICE TRIPLETS.

reply

Cool names for a cats 😂
I hope Prison Mike didn't bully the other cats.

I enjoyed both the original U.K. "The Office" and the U.S. version. But I have no desire ever to watch either of them again. I've seen every "Seinfeld" episode at least ten times, and will probably continue watching them for the rest of my life. I guess that means I find "Seinfeld" to be better.

reply

Seinfeld for me. It's like a comfortable pair of old jeans.

reply

As much as I love the Office, I gotta go with Seinfeld.

reply

Seinfeld by galactiv miles.

This is not even close.

reply

At least The Office doesn't have an annoying laugh track every 2 seconds.
