Who was the older brother between Bob or Buck?

I always felt Buck was for no reason whatsoever.

If you want to use real life ages, John Candy was 39 when this came out, Garrett Brown was 41.

I kind of feel like that would be accurate for the characters too. Bob was the older, favored brother, and their parents paid more attention to him, and made sure he stayed on the straight and narrow. Meanwhile they hardly paid attention to their younger son, and in turn he just wandered through life aimlessly.
