As an historical piece, I liked the pre-cgi era visual effects in this one.

The A-ha take on me comic book scene and the Freddy in the womb (or whatever it was) fetus was quite interesting - like an updated star child from 2001...

Dan's death scene. The dynamic the friends had with each other.
