Driving Miss Daisy...maybe a '6' NOW?

I watched this again for a 2nd time, after over 20 years, and still enjoyed it!
As a matter of fact, I cried like a baby for the last 2-3 minutes, where Tandy was in the care home.
Despite that, I'd still rate this about a '6' now, I think I would have rated this much higher back in its debut, for sure.

Not at all. If anything, it's proven that it still holds up 25 years later. It's a solid 9 in my opinion, even today.

I am watching it again and I concur with you. I would rate it a 9.

The movie's theme kept it from being a perfect 10.

Seeing it for the first time recently, I would give it a 6.5 or a 7 out of 10. It's a solid comedy-drama but I'm shocked this won Best Picture.

This movie still holds up even today. Solid 9 from me as well.

Agree. A simple story, but an unforgettable one. A lot of life lessons contained therein as well. Gets a 9 from me as well.
